Christmas Cards...

Finally I was motivated to screen print these lovely Christmas Cards. Took me awhile to think of what to illustrated and here it is in real print. I really like the color sage ink and the illustration of the fawns, which makes a perfect combination to my holiday collection. Anyway these cards are available at my etsy shop & Happy Holidays!

A fresh new start

A fresh new start on my business and business design. I also had a gocco itch and wanted to always gocco my business card. It took me awhile in coming up with the designs. Here it is I present to you my screen printed business cards:

I illustrated the flowers and screen printed 200 of them. Somehow, I don't want these cards to be departed to some strangers.

Low Key

I've been trying to find many ways to promote myself, however there are many factors that I have to consider. Ever since becoming a mother, I don't have a lot of time for myself these days and promoting myself out physically like doing flea shows and market shows is in impossible. I like to dedicate more of my time by being with my daughter.

On the downsize there are times I sit like a Mommy bird patiently waiting for shoppers who comes by to buy my stuff. Overall I'm not pushing myself or beating myself too much on this, but I do hope that over the upcoming days I'll get some more business in the long run...

Brooklyn Homeshow

Hi Mrs. Fadingflowers here, I have been extremely busy on my end. I'm trying to prepare and design the Brooklyn Homeshow flyers and postcard. I'll be making appearance by selling my handmade screen prints stationery cards. I'm psyched and can't wait to see everyone again.

Here's the info where it'll be at:

On October 11th, 2008, just before the start of the holiday season, a local artisan will open her Park Slope apartment to the public for an intimate shopping event. Several local artists and designers have been invited to showcase their handmade goods and to meet with shoppers for the one-day-only shopping event.

I love Tea Cup Sets

I don't know when my passion begin in collecting tea cup sets. I just love everything about it when it comes to drinking all sorts of teas. The aroma and the sweetness that runs through my mouth and the relaxation that sends through my body helps me brightens my day. I especially like the Vintage flowery pattern of the design in tea cup sets. I was lucky enough to score two tea cups sets at Anthropologie. They had a sale section and was marked down to $7.95 with the cup and saucer. Although, it isn't handmade but I think it deserve to be in a nice home.
